Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products, Russian Delegation Visits Shanghai Zhengcheng for Inspection and Exchange

After more than ten years of development, China Russia economic and trade cooperation has shown a good momentum of rapid development. As of 2022, China has become Russia's largest source of imports and the second largest exporter of goods. It exports mechanical manufacturing products, chemical products, pharmaceutical products, and textile products to Russia every year, with mechanical manufacturing products accounting for over 50%, becoming an important component of practical cooperation between China and Russia. In order to promote Sino Russian economic and trade cooperation and assist enterprises in exploring overseas markets, on October 26th, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products (hereinafter referred to as the "Chamber of Commerce") organized a Sino Russian Enterprise Procurement Matchmaking Conference in Shanghai.

As the vice president unit of the Chamber of Commerce for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Zhengda Electromechanical warmly received the Russian delegation. The Sino Russian Enterprise Negotiation Conference was held by Yang Zichen, a representative of the Chamber of Commerce for Mechanical and Electrical Industry and the project manager of the Eurasian Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Center, and Yekaterina Halimon, a representative of the "Federal Resource Center" of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development（ Халимон Екатерина） Led by a joint team, a total of 17 Russian enterprises participated, covering multiple import businesses such as poultry farming, food processing, microbial inoculants, grains and oils.

On the afternoon of the 26th, the Russian delegation visited the History Exhibition Hall of Zhengda Electromechanical Enterprises, the Intelligent Manufacturing Laboratory, and the Product Exhibition Hall. Shanghai Zhengcheng General Manager Zhang Hongfei and his electromechanical technology team introduced the industrial layout and technological innovation achievements of Zhengda Electromechanical in pig farm equipment, chicken farm equipment, feed machinery, food processing, specialized vehicles, environmentally friendly water treatment, and IoT intelligent manufacturing to Russian representatives. During the inspection, Russian representatives showed strong interest in the poultry equipment of Zhengda Electromechanical.

In the subsequent discussion and exchange, Mr. Zhang introduced that as a high-tech enterprise integrating research and development, production, sales, and service, Zhengda Electromechanical is committed to providing high-quality agricultural and animal husbandry machinery equipment and technical support to global customers, and has achieved significant results in domestic and foreign markets. This Sino Russian negotiation is a good bridge. We hope to use the platform role of the Chamber of Commerce for Machinery and Electronics to jointly seize the opportunities for digital and intelligent development with Russian enterprises, and explore new growth drivers and development paths. Yekaterina Halimon spoke highly of Zhengda's innovation ability and technical strength in the field of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturing. She said that China and Russia are important partners in the international cooperation of the "the Belt and Road", and the space for deepening cooperation between the two sides is very broad. As the initiator of this docking negotiation, the Russian government will further strengthen and closely cooperate with Chinese government departments and business associations in information exchange and cooperation, providing more cooperation opportunities for both sides' enterprises, and promoting economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between the two countries to a higher level.

Subsequently, representatives from both sides introduced the development history and business needs of their respective enterprises, and expressed their expectations for future cooperation between Chinese and Russian enterprises in the field of electromechanical technology.
